Here's a couple of tracks I've written for projects at DoveTail. (I wasn't asked to, I just wanted to). I've used a segment of the DnB theme in Train Sim World 4 for music venues along our routes. The Catan theme didn't quite match the musical direction of the project, so I left it out

The Prototype : Album 2024
I'm working on an album that's based around music I've written for games aswell as music I made in the past but never released (For various reasons)

I'm naming the album 'The Prototype' as I thought that not only relates to games but the fact that most of the songs were never released, yet still served as a point of development for me.
​
Most of the tracks above will be included (Some are already released), I'm also hoping to include the tracks below this paragraph, so I'm working hard to polish them up as they're between 2-4 years old and never finished / released!
I literally made the entirety of this track during a practical task at Uni back in 2022. We were tasked with making an ambient track in the 2nd half of our lesson and I made this! I just stumbled upon it and thought it would be perfect for my album! I tried remaking it a couple of times since, but it just never hit the same as this recording from the original project
I wrote this song a few years ago after reading a Devblog for the spiritual sucessor of the game 'Garry's mod', I was really excited and wanted to write some menu music for it. I made it loop seamlessly, although now it's releasing with my album, I'm altering it so it ends like a normal song
Soundtrack for my Minecraft city
A mate & I have been building a Minecraft city since around 2012. It's not quite a city anymore, as we've built numerous cities, towns & villages at this point... and still going strong!

Anyway, I thought it might be cool to write some tracks that were themed around each area of the map to maybe release as an interesting album one day. There's well over 40 locations at this point and probably even more if I write themes for general points of interest.

This first track's themed around the nuclear power plant based near the main city that the map expanded from.

The plant has a leaking fuel supply so, although I've written a pretty chilled out track, I've still tried to incorporate some of the more chaotic themes of the plant

These tracks were written for a game that never left it's prototyping phase, called 'Latch'. I wrote a few songs during the phase to create a radio station that would play through the radios in the game's environment.
The Bungaleers & The Foutons are two 4-piece bands I made up that both have their own instruments & styles. I would've made more if the project had gone forward, but I'm happy with how these turned out as I think they actually sound like 2 different bands, with the Bungaleers tracks sounding similar thanks to the style and instrument trends I created for each band.

I created a prototype of the radio station that's on my prototyping page, I wanted to make it sound run-down, almost like a pirate radio station that uses salvaged & jerry-rigged equipment to make it all work, so that's also reflected in the tracks. I created my own convolution reverbs of some rooms and added them to the drums, etc to purposely make them sound like they were recorded poorly with limited tech
For the album, I've created an extended version of the menu theme as I never actually finished it since the game never left the prototyping phase
